Are you interested in creating a more sustainable tomorrow? Friends of MAEV and F.R.O.G. shares this goal. We have been working diligently for ten years to create a model sustainable residential community in southwest Michigan. Our work has entailed exploring sustainable design approaches and forming a supportive human community that seeks to
model a way of living in greater harmony with each other and the natural world.

Do you have specific knowledge or skills that you could apply to our project?
Let us know what they are! While we may not be able to utilize your expertise immediately,
if it is related to community building, green construction, permaculture, or ecologically responsible landscaping, we will need your expertise in the near future.

Prayer, positive thoughts, and meditations sent our way for the success of our project
and for those working hard to make it reality are greatly appreciated!

Monetary donations are needed and very much appreciated! We have made a great deal of progress toward making this project a reality. Members have supported these efforts through financial contributions and pledges of $160,000 to date. In our current phase of planning, total pre-construction costs require an additional $100,000. This is why we hope that people like you, who have an interest in the quality of our environment and in sustainability,
will consider helping us become a model sustainable residential community.

Your contribution will be used directly for pre-construction costs.
Although not seeking to make a profit, under IRS rules, Manitou Arbor Ecovillage
is unable to become a tax-exempt development—therefore you would not be able to
receive a tax deduction or credit for your donation.
However, seeing a project like Manitou Arbor Ecovillage become a reality would be
a genuine acknowledgement of your commitment and contribution to our
environment and to future generations.
